On September 14 & 15, Howdy Honda will host its 3rd annual Keeping Kids Safe Project inside the dealership’s showroom. This child safety fair is free and open to all families in Central Texas.
Keeping Kids Safe Project is a national child safety fair that tours the country providing parents free FBI-quality digital fingerprints and photographs of their children to keep in case of an emergency. “Police officials say time is crucial in the recovery of missing children. One major problem that costs precious time is gathering current photographs, fingerprints, and personal information to assist law enforcement agencies,” says Lytishya Borglum, National Director of S.I.P. Kids, organization that coordinates the event. “As parents, we have a common passion for helping others keep their children safe and with the help of Howdy Honda, we are able to do just that,” says Mrs. Borglum.
We are honored to be able to host such event for Central Texas families for the third year in a row, as we see our community as an extension of our own family. The event will be held on Friday, September 14th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday, September 15th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Howdy Honda and S.I.P. Kids have also extended an invitation to other organizations to join in the festivities.
