Howdy Honda's Priority Spotlight: Cargo Space
When buying a vehicle, 9 times out of 10, there is a deal breaker about the vehicle you almost pulled the trigger on that made you walk away. This is true for everyone, whether it is only a two door and you’re looking for a four-door, to the lot only having your desired vehicle with a manual transmission as opposed to an automatic. As the leading Honda dealer in Austin, we know that everything has to be just right about the next car you’ll be purchasing. If that deal breaker we spoke of before is cargo space, here are some reasons why a Honda might be the best choice for you.
Honda makes vehicles in all different shapes and sizes, but that’s not to say that they all don’t offer more than enough cargo space for each respective vehicle. Look at the 2012 Honda Fit for example. It is classified as a ‘small car,’ but this vehicle is anything but small in regard to cargo space. The Fit offers almost 21 cubic feet of cargo space, rivaling some compact SUVs. The Fit also has the option of putting the back seats down, which then offers the driver nearly 60 cubic feet of storage space! The Fit offers drivers four different storage modes including; people, long, tall and utility making almost anything fit in the back of this ‘small car.’
The Fit’s versatility is great, but unpractical for those with new and growing families. With that being said, the Honda Odyssey EX-L not only offers drivers 19 miles per gallon, but offers 61.5 cubic feet of storage space, all while seating seven comfortably.
Although those might be the extremes, overall vehicle size wise, Honda has several other vehicles that offer more than you can chew when it comes to cargo space. The Honda Element and Honda CR-V both offer consumers at least 25 cubic feet without putting any seats down and up to as much as 75 cubic feet of storage space! Needless to say if you’re looking for a vehicle that has the ability to store, you can definitely put Honda on your list.
