After having a terrible experience at Charles Maund earlier in the week, I went down to Howdy Honda to check out a used Odyssey and met Armando Villa. Armando was absolutely wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and honest and frequently communicated with me throughout my purchase. He went above and beyond making sure I knew everything and answered all of my questions ... . Sorry Toyota, I'm a Honda owner now!!! And my 3 year old says my new Odyssey is "perfect!"

I had such a great experience here after looking at another vehicle in San Antonio. Ed Little provided great service with a friendly phone call after I had viewed a listing on their website. He was able to text me photos of the vehicle which I came in and drove the same day and purchased. He was very open and honest about the competitive landscape of Honda's ... financing and market value pricing. The credit union who approved my same-day financing said they work with Howdy Honda on a regular basis, and thought I got a great deal on the vehicle. They too made it easy to purchase a vehicle. It really came down to the salesperson and I felt I was in good hands with Ed!

We recently purchased our second new vehicle from Howdy Honda and have always been impressed with both the service and the vehicles we had received from this dealership. This time around, we were shopping with our 2 year-old. Everyone was so patient with the disruption that a two-year old can bring to any situation, let alone the process of browsing, test-driving, and ... purchasing a car. For us, this was a 2 day process. On day 2, we didn't realize the dealership closed earlier than the day prior. Even though we were there an hour after closing, no one ever rushed us or seemed put off by us being there. STACI DUNNEBACK was wonderful to work with. She was patient with our endless questions, flexible with her time, and genuinely kind to my family. Our 2 year old daughter actually asked for her by name numerous times after we left the dealership. We also appreciated assistance from Victor and Andy who helped us sort through many different financing scenarios so we could find the best fit for us. We were never pressured to buy anything we weren't interested in and felt the process was fair and painless.
I just purchased my first new car from Howdy Honda. Ask for Brad Plauche! He is AWESOME! I had read great reviews on him and they were correct, he was great to work with and made my car buying experience wonderful from beginning to end! I will definitely buy from Howdy Honda and Brad again!

I switched from Mazda to Honda in 2012 after buying Mazdas most of my driving life since our family friend managed a dealership in another state, but having 2 terrible purchasing experiences here in Austin at Roger Beasley south, and one horrible service experience at their Burnett location where I declined on their tires which were 25% more than Discount Tire, had ... their mechanic yell at me, and then conveniently had a flat and noticeable slash less than 4 miles away. A low bar to compare to, but Howdy Honda far exceeds expectations for any dealership or service center I have been to.When I purchased my car in 2012 there was no 1970's sales tactics and pressure, and they actually honored the price that was advertised for a lease which compared to most times you get there and the payment for the exact same specs, TTL and everything advertised is somehow significantly more and you just take it because you don't want to start over. I've had it serviced there once a year since I have a short commute and don't drive much, and have never been upsold on unnecessary services (brake fluid or transmission fluid flush trickery anyone who goes to Jiffy Lube?). Even today the last time I was in the mechanic let me know my alignment was right at the limit of needing re-alignment but it's probable fine, and today he showed me the measurements again but said if i'm not noticing it let's just keep an eye on it. No bs, friendly experience, and honest opinions and recommendations. The dealership and waiting areas are extremely clean, now powered by a ton of solar panels, have extremely clean restrooms (great measure of care and quality for any business), wifi that works well, and they were flying through a long list of customers giving me a 2.5 hour estimate and finishing in an hour and a half. Under promise, over deliver - I get the trick, but given the number of people that were there on a Saturday they were not messing around and performing at a solid rate. My sales guy reaches out personally once every year or so realizing I drive a Honda that could last for a very long time if I don't get the consumeristic itch to level up to something more shiny, they have good automated marketing and service specials that are not overbearing, and their product is one of the best on the market in their class for dependability and resale value.
