The 2017 Honda Ridgeline has taken the pickup truck segment by storm since its release in June 2016 thanks to innovative features, industry-first amenities, and incredible reliability. Shortly after being named the 2017 North American Truck of the Year, the 2017 Honda Ridgeline is now the only pickup in America to earn the highest possible safety ratings from both the U.S. government and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). 2017 Honda Ridgeline Safety Features
The 2017 Honda Ridgeline is equipped with a host of advanced safety systems to protect all occupants in a variety of situations. All 2017 Ridgeline trims come equipped with a multi-angle rearview camera, the ACE body structure, Vehicle Stability Assist, and Anti-lock Braking System, side curtain airbags, advanced front airbags, and front side airbags.
The Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety and driver-assistive technologies comes standard on the Ridgeline RTL-E and Black Editions. The suite includes Collision Mitigation Braking with Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning, Lane Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control. Ridgeline trims equipped with the suite earned a superior rating from the IIHS front crash prevention.
