When Will the 2019 Honda Passport Arrive in Austin TX?
Expected to arrive at Howdy Honda in the early part of 2019, the all-new 2019 Honda Passport will make room for five passengers in a cabin that provides 115.9 cubic feet of passenger space. A family-friendly cabin is complemented by 41.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats that will expand to 77.9 cubic feet with the rear seats laid flat. An innovative underfloor storage compartment adds 2.5 cubic feet of hidden space. Developed to provide families with a capable crossover that can tackle the road less traveled, the Honda Passport is available in four trim levels – Sport, EX-L, Touring and Elite.
2019 Honda Passport Engine Specs and Technology Features
A bold, capable 2019 Honda Passport design starts with standard 20-inch wheels, a matte black grille, improved ride height and aggressive wheel arches. Honda Passport entries will employ a standard 280-horsepower 3.5-liter i-VTEC® V-6 engine that pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission. An available i-VTM4™ all-wheel drive system with Intelligent Traction Management technology will add to the excitement of the capable Honda Passport. When properly equipped, the Honda Passport will tow up to 5,000 pounds with all-wheel drive.
Inside the 2019 Honda Passport, families will find a wealth of impressive tech features that cater to the family on the go. The Honda Sensing® suite of safety features is standard for all Passport trim levels and will come complete with a Collision Mitigation Braking System™ with Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning, a Lane Keeping Assistance System and Adaptive Cruise Control.
Entry-level Passport Sport models come complete with a 5-inch infotainment system, LED headlights, Smart Start and Smart Entry, three-zone automatic climate control and a 215-watt sound system. An upgrade to Passport EX-L, Touring and Elite trim levels will add an 8-inch Display Audio touchscreen infotainment system with access to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, onboard Wi-Fi and HondaLink® services.
