The Honda Sensing suite of suite of driver assistance and safety systems will be included as standard equipment on the 2019 HR-V for EX trim levels and higher. With the addition of Honda Sensing to the HR-V, all new Honda models will now offer the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance systems.
What is included in the Honda Sensing suite of systems?
The Honda Sensing suite offered on the 2019 Honda HR-V will include a variety of safety and driver assistance features. Systems offered as part of the Honda Sensing suite include:
- Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS).
- Road Depature Mitigation (RDM).
- Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS).
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
The addition of the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance systems is just one of the updates that has been made to the 2019 Honda HR-V. The exterior styling of the HR-V has been updated. Two new trim levels have also been added. The HR-V will be available in the new Sport and Touring trim levels.
An updated version of the Display Audio system will also be offered on the HR-V that includes connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The HR-V’s CVT and all-wheel drive system have also been updated and refined for the new model year.
